William (Bill) Ellicott

William 'Bill' Ellicott passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 87. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy, of 65 years; children, Kelly (Dominic), Kristine, and Clinton (Jackie); grandchildren, Sarah (Devin), Steven, Taylor, Jordan, Wesley, Jack, and Reagan; and great-grandchildren, Blake and Preston. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean (MacLeod) and Manson Ellicott; sister, Dorothy; and brother, Ray (Eleanor). Bill grew up on a farm in Pickering Township and attended a one-room schoolhouse. He went on to excel in the commercial program at Pickering District High School and began his career as an inspector with General Motors. He later joined Lafarge Canada Inc., where he held various positions, including General Manager of Lafarge Packaged Material in Toronto.
