Virginia Gagueija

Virginia Gagueija passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 82. She was a woman of quiet strength, warmth, unwavering love, and her presence shaped the lives of all who knew her. She devoted her life to her family, offering endless care, wisdom, and kindness. She had a gift for making people feel seen and loved, her gentle spirit will be remembered always. She was always there for her family and friends, giving freely, and providing a helping hand without any expectations. Virginia is survived by her husband, George; her daughter, Grace (Jean); and her grandchildren, Liam and Emily, all of whom carry her love forward in their hearts. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 21 at 1 p.m.
