Thomas Richard Carnegie

Thomas Richard Carnegie passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, in his 88th year. He was the beloved husband of Glenda (neé Ogle) for over 66 years. Tom was the cherished father of Pam (Dave Rayner), Lynn (Paul Easter), Teri MacDonald, and Gord (Tanya). He was a devoted Papa of Meaghan (Brandon), Alexa (Kyle), and Cole. Tom was the dear brother of Bill, John, and Lee. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Willis Carnegie. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, and Post Inn Village for their exceptional care of Tom. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Monday, April 20th from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 21st at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Navy Club, 2444 Industrial St #5, Burlington. A private interment will take place in Port Perry at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society, or the Willow Foundation (for Post Inn Village) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
