Sylvia Betty Boyda

Sylvia Betty Boyda passed away in Burlington, Ontario on July 18, 2026, at the age of 89. She was the beloved mother of Sherri (Brian) and Denise, and a devoted sister to Evelyn. Sylvia was a cherished grandmother and Meema to Bryce, Gillian, Claire, Jarrett and Emma Lee. She was predeceased by her parents, Alice and James, and by her husband of 63 years, John, who died in 2020. Sylvia was remembered for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and her passion for gardening, which kept her yard vibrant from spring through fall. Cremation has been completed, and a Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date. The family welcomes donations to Carpenter House in her memory.
