Susanne Zinkie

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Susanne Zinkie of Burlington, Ontario, who departed this life on September 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Susanne was born on October 16, 1942. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Zinkie, and their children, Alison (Darrell Vyse), Karen Clifford (Colin), and Brent (Sarah). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jonathan (Rylee), Nathan, Audrey, and Will. Susanne was predeceased by her siblings, Cynthia Abel (late Bill), Dean (Ann), Gary (Patti), and her parents, Elmer and Agnes Carruthers. She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Mather (late Joe) and Ross (Joan). A visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Port Nelson United Church, located at 3132 South Dr, Burlington, ON L7N1H7. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Dying with Dignity Canada or Carpenter Hospice.
