Sandra Gayle (nee Latimer) MATTHEWS

Sandra Gayle Matthews (nee Latimer) passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Burlington, on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 80. She was the devoted wife of Bob for 59 years. Sandra was a loving mother of Jeffrey (Carolyn) and Susan (Sean), and a dear grandmother of Natalie and Noah. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Harriet. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Joseph Brant Hospital for their care of Sandra. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Oncology Department of Joseph Brant Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
