Ronald Leonard BECKETT

Ronald Leonard Beckett passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 18, 1943, in Chatham, he was the eldest son of the late Leonard Beckett and the late Dorothy Beckett. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Willow Beckett, and his brothers, Gerald Beckett and Richard Beckett, as well as his sister-in-law, Heather Seip, and brother-in-law, Brian Morris. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ron had a distinguished teaching career, serving as a principal with the Halton District School Board. He was passionate about figure skating, theatre, and travel, and cherished time spent with his family, friends, and his West Highland Terriers. A visitation will be held at Port Nelson United Church on July 25, followed by a funeral service and reception. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on July 27. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Veterinary College Pet Trust, Port Nelson United Church, or Carpenter Hospice.
