Robert Alexander WALLACE

Robert Alexander Wallace, 75, of Burlington, Ontario, died peacefully on July 25, 2026. He was a McMaster University alumnus who built a career at Stelco Steel before becoming a respected Quality Management Systems Auditor and Consultant. Outside of work he was a devoted father, an avid skier, enjoyed cottage trips, and prepared hearty Sunday breakfasts for his family. He is survived by his children Robert (married to Latarra Crane) and Richard, his granddaughter Madison, his sister Diane Hodgson and her family, his best friend Don Wallace, and his former spouse Susan Wallace. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mildred Wallace, his brother Allan Wallace, and his long‑time partner Diane Kilpinen. A private funeral and interment will take place on August 22, 2026 at Clarke's Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ontario, followed by a Celebration of Life on September 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Marquis Gardens, 1050 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. The family suggests donations to a charity of the donor’s choice in lieu of flowers.
