Richard "Rick" MITCHELL

Richard 'Rick' Mitchell passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family at Joseph Brant Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Mitchell and cherished father to Jacqueline Matthews and the late Bradley Mitchell. Rick was also a proud grandfather to Jefferey, Jason, Dylan, and Kyle. He is survived by his sisters Barbara Mitchell and Betty Logan. Rick had a distinguished career, rising to become the President of Jordan Wines and Carling O'Keefe, and later working as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Pepsi Cola. He was a natural in his later career in Real Estate, and was loved by all his clients. Rick was an original member of the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Association and enjoyed golf and spending time with his grandsons at the family cottage on Lake Kashagawigamog in Haliburton.
