Philip Durso

Philip Durso passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Durso, and dear brother of Donna Finn and his late sister Lucille Schofield. Philip was also a cherished uncle, cousin, stepfather, step-grandfather, and brother-in-law. Born on January 28, 1946, in Hamilton, Ontario, to the late Marion J. Durso and the late Philip F. Durso, Philip enjoyed many years of hard work at Baycoat, Hamilton. He loved spending time at his home in Largo, Florida, and cherished the company of his dogs. Philip was an avid follower of NASCAR and had a fascination with airplanes. He also loved music, including the works of Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, and The Bee Gees. A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Anglican Church in Waterdown on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made in Philip's name to Grace Anglican Church, Waterdown.
