Patricia Grace (Malec) ISBISTER

Patricia Grace (Malec) Isbister passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at her home in Burlington, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Earl Isbister, who passed away in 2017. They were married for 58 years. Patricia was a loving mother to her two children, Glen (Roxanne) and Patricia (David Doherty); her four grandchildren, Geoffrey Doherty (Ashley) and Daniel Doherty (Jessica), Thomas Isbister (Marta), and Sarah Isbister; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Maeve, and Eleanor. Patricia is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three siblings, Dorothy, Sheila, and Stanley. Patricia was born in Hamilton, Ontario, on March 04, 1934, the daughter of Stanley and Dorothy Malec. The family would like to extend special thanks to her caregiver, Brigid. Visitation will be held at SMITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel Friday, December 5, at 10 a.m. A reception will follow.
