Milan RAFFAY

Milan Raffay passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Julie (nee Kocis) for 60 years. Milan was a devoted father to Andrew (Christina) and predeceased by his daughter Carolyn (Andy). He was a cherished grandpa to Jenny, Jessica, Carter, and Jake, and a great-grandpa to Jack and Mason. Milan is also survived by his brother John (Mary) and predeceased by his sister Mary Russell. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, and the love of his family. Milan retired after 46 years as an electrician at Stelco. The Raffay family wishes to thank the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for their care and support. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 5-8 p.m., with vigil prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Parish, 287 Plains Road E, Burlington, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
