Michael (Psiloritis) VERGADIS

Michael Vergadis passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of the late Filia and loving father of George, John, and Nectarios. Michael was a dear Papou of Michael, Flaviano, Michael, and Susanna, and Great-Papou of Silvio and Adriana. He was a dear brother of Haralambos and predeceased by his sisters Frosso and Evanthia. Michael is survived by several nieces and nephews in Greece. He was a devoted and long-time parishioner of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the church council and the Cretan Association of Toronto and Hamilton. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Burlington on Thursday, June 18th, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, June 19th, at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
