Michael Edward Brown

Michael Edward Brown passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Hilda (née Willis). Michael was a loving father of Karen, Roger (Kim), and Raymond, and a cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Alex. He was a dear brother to many siblings, including Rose, Eric, Albert, Oswald, Orville, Edwin, Patrick, Yvonne, and Maxine, along with many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Ervin Brown; his parents, Joseph Everad Brown and Ruby Maud Brown (née Greenwood); and his brother, Carlton Brown. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends in Canada, the United States, and Jamaica. A devoted member of Pineland Baptist Church, Michael was a man of strong faith who deeply loved his family and treasured the time spent with them. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 4 - 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Pineland Baptist Church on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would sincerely appreciate memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON.
