MARY BONA LEA (BONNY) NICHOL

Mary Bona Lea Nichol, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, was born on April 4, 1940, and passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on February 20, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Stan; her sons Andy and his wife Maureen, and Scott and his wife Monika; her grandchildren, Alex and his wife Hilarie, Hayley, and Kaitlyn; and her great-grandchildren, Isla, Scarlett, Hunter, Chase, Hudson, and Alex. Cremation has taken place, and in keeping with her wishes, no service will be held. Her family will honour her privately and carry her memory forward with love. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital, along with Dr. Greszlo, Dr. Kilorn, and the many other health-care professionals who provided such care and compassion to her.
