Maria Casaca of Burlington, Ontario, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on August 30, 1931, Maria was a beloved figure whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She is survived by her daughters, Anna (Tony) and Marilyn (the late Maurizio), as well as her grandsons, Eric (Sydney), Matthew (Jasmine), and Michael (Katie). Maria also leaves behind her sister Manuela and her nieces, Grace (Jean), Suzy (Rob), and Cindy (Derek). Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they created together. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.
