Margaret (Grietje) (nee Dykema) HEIKAMP

Margaret (Grietje) Heikamp passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 77. She was a devoted mother to Dave and Crystal, Ed and Michelle, Doug and Hilda, Christine and Gary, and a cherished grandmother to Erin and Rich, Matt and Faith, Seth, Damon, Connor, and Justin. She was a beloved sister of Alice Versteeg, Ella and Nick Vandooren, Gerb and Jane Dykema, Bill and Elisabeth Dykema, Mellina and Carl Graovac, and Helen and Andy Wedzinga; and sister-in-law of Thea and Walter Glaw, Harry Heikamp, Roy Heikamp, and Irma and Jan Reckman. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Heikamp, who passed away in 2019. Marg showed her love through service, generosity, and a faithful commitment to helping others. She volunteered faithfully at the Mission Thrift Store for more than 30 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at EBENEZER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 607 Dynes Road, Burlington, where a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Private Family Interment will precede the service at Waterdown Union Cemetery.
