Mabel Irene Davey

Mabel Irene Davey, born on March 21, 1930, passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 96. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Davey (Cathy Paul) of Port Hope, Patrice Anderson (Russell) of Oakville, and Jane Davey (Ken Weir) of Burlington. Mabel was a beloved grandmother to Cole (Alexis), Kirsten (Joey), Clayton (Maddie), Mitchell, and Cameron, and a cherished great-grandmother to Sophia, Isla, Sawyer, Peyton, and Henryk. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jean Millar and her nieces and nephews, Ashley (Adam), Shannon, David, Harper, Ella, Devon, and Jordan (Andrew). Mabel was predeceased by her husband John Davey (Jack), her parents, Nellie Millar (Kerns) and Thomas Millar, and her siblings, Harvey, Keith, Bruce, Cameron, and Helen. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowville United Church, located at 5800 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P0A7. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lowville United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
