Lynda Louise STRINGFELLOW

Lynda Louise Stringfellow passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on September 22, 1961, in Radcliffe, England, Lynda was the beloved daughter of Brian and Mildred Stringfellow and loving sister to Susan Fuciarelli (John). She was the cherished and devoted mother of Brianna Downey (Scott) and Brendon Downey (Delanie) and a proud grandmother to her much-beloved Angela and Lylah. Lynda will be deeply missed by her niece, Dayna, and nephews, Devon and Jordan, as well as by Marion and Richard Gust, Laura and John Rideout, and her loving cousins in England, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States. Lynda worked for many years at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), where she retired after a distinguished career. She made lifelong friends with several colleagues, including Kelly, Deborah, Dale, Kim, and Amanda, who will miss her greatly. Lynda was a gifted vocalist and an accomplished visual artist. Outside of work, Lynda was deeply involved in her community, serving as president of her homeowners association and cherishing her involvement with her Probus group. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, BURLINGTON, on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carpenter Hospice, Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, Juravinski Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
