LORNA RUTH SCHNEIDER

Lorna Ruth Schneider passed away peacefully at her home in Burlington on July 11, 2026, at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Joseph Schneider. Lorna is survived by her loving children, Richard, Ann, and Laura, as well as her grandchildren, Ainslie, Taylor, Heidi, Erik, Nils, Haley, and James, and her great-grandchildren, Arden, Rowan, Leif, Vera, Alice, Henrik, Judith, Harper, and Hudson. Born in Toronto, Lorna grew up in the west end, graduating from Bishop Strachan School and the Ontario College of Art. She met her husband at HMCS York and they were married in 1951. Lorna was a devoted mother and charity worker, and she and her husband enjoyed a long and happy marriage, travelling the world and living in various places, including Ireland and Abu Dhabi. After her husband's death, Lorna continued to travel with her great friend and sister-in-law, Jean Escribano. Private services will be held.
