June Iris Bishop (neé Lacroix)

June Iris Bishop (neé Lacroix) passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 94, in Burlington, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Bishop, and her mother, Vera Lacroix. June is survived by her daughters, Cathie Gibbs and Pamela Dicker (Doug), her sister Shirley Davidson (late Alex), her grandson Andrew Gibbs (Brittney), her great-grandchildren Murphy and Evelyn, her sister-in-law Rebecca Marshall, and her brother-in-law Ben Bishop. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and her many friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital and Appleby Place Senior Residence. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, March 19th from 12 - 1 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. and a reception. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Burlington Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
