Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith of Burlington, Ontario, passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 13, 1949, he is remembered by a wide circle of family, friends, and colleagues. Jonathan is survived by his brother, David (Rolande), and his children, Clive, Lee, and Reid. He was deeply loved and cherished by many, including an extraordinary group of friends, artists, students, and fellow travelers. His influence and the memories he created will remain with those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Emmanuel House Hospice, Craft Ontario, or FUSION: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association.
