John "Jack" Thomas Anthony KEARNS

John 'Jack' Thomas Anthony Kearns, a loving father and devoted grandfather, passed away peacefully in his 88th year on May 1, 2026, surrounded by his family at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington. He is survived by his wife, Deirdre, his children, Catherine (the late Patrick McManus), Gillian, and Trevor, and his grandchildren, Lillian and Mark. He was the backbone of his family and their ultimate role model. He taught the importance of family and always showing up for those you love. A celebration of life will be held at Dodsworth & Brown funeral home, 2241 New St, Burlington, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with shared memories beginning at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memoriam to the Carpenter Hospice.
