John Denis WHITE

John Denis White passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn, and his parents, David and Carmel White. John Denis White is survived by his children, Denis White (Debbie) of Grimsby, Ontario, David White of Oakville, Ontario, and Sean White (Kimberley Aalhus) of Vancouver, British Columbia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephen (Alexandra), Noelle (Kevin), Kirstin, and Natalie, and his great-grandchild, Weston. Visitation will be held at Smiths Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 3-6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., with a reception following in the church hall. A private cremation and family interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
