Jean Staniewski

Jean Mae Staniewski, nee Gaidamovich, passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, on July 21, 2026, at the age of 91. Born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of the late Felix Gaidomovich and was predeceased by her siblings Phyllis, Anne, Helen, and Wesley. Jean is survived by her husband of 68 years, Anthony, and their sons Edward, Andy, and Victor. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, including Anna-Marie, Greg, Jeremy, Chris, Melissa, Julian, Natalie, Justin, and Larissa, as well as her great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Wesley, Edward, Everett, Theo, Parker, and Cooper. The family is grateful for the care and compassion provided during her final days. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
