Jean "Jenny" Damiani (nee Stratichuck)
Jean 'Jenny' Damiani (nee Stratichuck) passed away in Burlington, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the age of 96. She was the devoted wife of Archie for 74 years and loving mother of Anthony (Collen Butler) and Richard (Emily Masterson). Jean was predeceased by her parents, George and Annie, and her siblings, Lena, Anne, Mary, and Peter. She was also reunited with her beloved pets, Ozzer, Ceasar, Smokey, and Amber. Jean and Archie spent their years together loving their family and traveling the world. Faith played an important role in Jean's life, volunteering at several churches in Burlington, including numerous positions at St. Raphael's Church. Jean was also an active volunteer in the arts community at Burlington Arts Centre. She had a passion for quilting, knitting, and gardening. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will take place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. A livestream of the Funeral Mass will be available on the church's website.
