She is survived by her husband Doug Deakins, her children Perry (married to Debie), Monique (married to Brad) and Lise (married to Al), her grandchildren Jonathan, Nate, Brittany, Jesse, Seth and Zach, her great‑grandchild Noah, and her sisters Adrienne Daoust and Clarice Stewart. Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario. A funeral Mass took place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 22 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario.
