Gertrude Kathrin MacFARLANE

Gertrude Kathrin MacFarlane, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, John MacFarlane. Gertrude is survived by her devoted daughters, Kathryn and Carolyn; her son-in-law, Willie MacPherson; and her cherished grandson, Ian, and his partner, Katie. Born on November 15, 1935, in London, Ontario, she was the daughter of Anna and George Roth. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna, and brother-in-law, Don, and is survived by her sister, Elizabeth, and brother-in-law, Bob, along with many nieces, nephews, and a great-niece. A Celebration of Life will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
