E. Jane Carter (nee Watson)
Ethel Jane Carter passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the age of 79. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Stanley Carter, and loving mother to Quinn, Clay, Cole, Slade, and Lee. Jane was the devoted daughter of the late Dorwin and Joy Watson, and was predeceased by her brothers James 'Tac' and Wayne, and sister-in-law Barbara Watson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, including Kim White and her husband Bill, and David Watson and his wife Gina, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaymee Lee White and Billy James White. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 6-9 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, where the Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Family Centre. If desired, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
