Duncan Herbert ROSS

Duncan Herbert Ross, of Burlington, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on March 11, 1930, Duncan was a devoted husband to his wife, Peggy, for 60 years; a loving father to Susan (Martin), Linda (Michael), William (Janna), and Peter (the late Helen); and a proud grandfather to Emily, Morgan (Jay), and Isabel (the late Thomas). Duncan leaves behind an extended family including David Stringer (Kate) and Helen Menzel (Axel) and their families; Samira Taeb (Hesam) and Salimeh Miller (Chris) and their families; and Ky Brooks (Robyn) and Eliot Brooks (Ella). Duncan was predeceased by his beloved wife, Peggy; his parents, Herb and Effie (Duncan) Ross; and his younger sister, Marion. A funeral will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on January 5, 2026. Visitation will start at 9:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind Foundation (CNIB) would be appreciated by the family.
