Donald Eric Richard SMITH

Donald Eric Richard Smith passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Donna (deceased 2017) and is survived by his partner, Maggi Harding; his children Craig (married to Carolyn), Nadine (married to Mike Grivich) and Jennifer (married to Tom Wilkie); and his grandchildren Eric, Daniel (married to Danielle), Mathew, Jimmy (married to Clover) and Spencer. He was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Elsie Smith, and his sister, Lorna Dzurban. Donald spent his working life as a laborer and enjoyed woodworking and the mountains of the West Coast. A Celebration of Life will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m., with tributes at 6 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
