Diane Elinor Keene

Diane Elinor Keene (née Calder) passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, at her long-term care facility in Burlington, Ontario, at the age of 76. Born on October 2, 1949, in Toronto, Ontario, Diane was the beloved daughter of Thomas Calder and Elinor Bruce Harrison Calder. She was a devoted mother to her two children, James Keene (Robyn Keene) and Katherine Palmer (Ryan Palmer), and a loving grandmother to Aili and Harrison, with another grandchild eagerly anticipated. Diane was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Calder Jr. She is also remembered fondly by her siblings, Jean, Alison, and Lesley, and was a cherished aunt to Suzanne, Michael, Kristopher, Andrina, Lauren, and Robert. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Mount Lawn Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, Ontario.
