CAROLE JANECKA

Carole Janecka (nee Reid) passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her husband, Jara. Carole is survived by her son, Mark, and her daughter, Rachel. She taught English at Cedar Grove Public School in the 1960s and English as a Second Language at Clarkson Secondary School in the 1990s. After retiring in the late 1990s, she enjoyed travelling to Europe, Asia, and Central and South America with friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Research. Cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Burlington.
