Brian Thomas Gilmore

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Thomas Gilmore, who departed this life on October 9, 2026, in Burlington, Ontario. Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn Downey, and his brother, Reg (Louise). He leaves behind his children, Kevin (Jan) and Sheelagh (Marty), along with his grandchildren, Matt (Katryna), Shawn (Jessica), Josh Droughan, Brodie (Jenn), Warren (Alessia), and Nicole Gilmore (Allie). He was also a proud great-grandfather to Griffin, Raegan, Jayce, Ariana, Benjamin, Maeve, Finlay, and Emery. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Gladys Gilmore, and his grandchild, Shannyn Harrop. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carpenter Hospice or Ducks Unlimited Canada.
