Betty May Steele

Betty May Steele of Burlington, Ontario, died on August 22, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on November 1, 1932. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ethel Hopkins, her husband Sam Steele, and her sisters Ruth and Marion. She is survived by her children Colleen (late Robert), Bill (married to Jocelyn), Bob, Sam (married to Kelly), Jim (married to Jan) and Dan (married to Cathy), as well as her sister Joan Winter of Cochrane, together with numerous grandchildren and great‑grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Compass Point Bible Church, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington, ON L7P 3A7. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with a reception from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and burial at Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, ON L7T 1J3, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albright Manor or the Canadian Bible Society.
