Betty Jane Lush

Betty Jane Lush, née Lemon, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by her family at Joseph Brant Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Keith, to whom she was married for 60 years. Betty is survived by her children, Linda and Alex Medjesi, and Gail and Kris Nickerson, as well as her grandchildren, Adam and Ryan Medjesi, and Erik and Dana Nickerson. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Lemon, and her husband, Keith, in 2018. A graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1954, Betty was a longtime resident of Carlisle before moving to LaSalle Park Retirement Community. Friends and family may visit on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME in Waterdown, with a Memorial Service at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Arthritic Society of Canada.
