Amelia "Emily" (nee Damario) DITOMASO
Amelia 'Emily' (nee Damario) DITOMASO passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in her 103rd year, at the age of 102. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Frank (deceased). Emily was the dear mother of Andrew (Diane), Mary (Leo), Frank (deceased) (Carole), Laura (Erick) and daughter-in-law Wendy. She was a cherished grandmother of John, Ronald, Pamela, Dana, Daniel, Jonathan, Nicholas, Daryl, and Chris, and a loved great-grandmother of Dillan, Nicole, Liam, Simone, Michael, Liliana, and Levi. Emily was predeceased by grandchildren Sean and Lisa, sister Mary, and brothers Nick and Vito. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with vigil prayers at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St John The Baptist R.C. Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue, Burlington, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Age Care Brant LTC and to all the caregivers who provided their support and patience throughout the later years of Emily's life.
