Alpha (Al) Johnson

Alpha (Al) Johnson passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie, whom he had been married to for 10 years. Al was predeceased by his first wife, Lise, with whom he had been married for 50 years. He is survived by his children, Rick, Nancy, and Cindy, as well as his stepdaughter, Jaimie. Al was also a devoted father to his grandchildren, Michael, Marc, Stephanie, Jonathan, Kyle, and Julie, and a proud grandfather to his great-grandson, Jackson. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, BURLINGTON, on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Saturday, [date to be determined].
