James Fraser

The family announces the passing of James Fraser of Brockville, Ontario, on October 23, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on May 14, 1931, James was a cherished member of his community. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Fraser; his son, Michael Fraser; his parents, Gerald Fraser and Mildred Beckstead (Fraser); and his brothers, Jack Fraser and Robert Fraser. He is survived by his children, Barb (Tim Stiff) and Andrew (Lizanne), as well as his grandchildren, Megan Stiff, Michael Stiff, and Keelin Fraser. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irvine Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on the same day. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
