Handy Nevers

Handy Nevers of Brockville, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 1, 1935, Handy is remembered for the life he shared with family and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie Nevers (Heaslip), as well as his siblings Doris Kierstead, Donald Nevers (Velma), Miriam Hanson (Bill), and Barbara Nevers, and his son-in-law Felix Redka. Handy is survived by his daughter, Laurie Redka Bramer (Mark), his grandchildren Adrienne Redka, Evan Redka (Rebecca), and Alana Redka, along with his great-grandchild, Max. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highway Pentecostal Church, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM. A burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Young at Heart Program, Highway Pentecostal Church, or Shareword Global Canada.
