Gladys Mildred Giffin

Gladys Mildred Giffin of Brockville, Ontario, born on June 3, 1931, passed away on October 18, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin Giffin; her father John (Hazel); her siblings Arthur Willoughby (Golda), Ernest Willoughby (Mary), Hubert Willoughby (Dorothy), May Beth Hamilton (Harold), Helene Maitland (Bert), and Lillian Brisco (Cecil); and her siblings-in-law Marjorie Brown (Gord) and Archie Giffin. Gladys is survived by her daughters Lorraine O'Halloran (John) and Joyce Edgley (Leon); her grandchildren Sean Edgley (Lisa Lancastle), Mark Edgley (Jen McAllister), Meghan O'Halloran (Nick Brunette-D'Souza), and Courtney O'Halloran (Jorge Ehlers); her great-grandchildren Jonathan, Dominick (Kayla), Lexi (Adam), Rylee, Théo, Nora, Alesso, Keaton, Ben, and Jacob; her great-great-grandchildren Arthur and Goldie; and her sister-in-law Paulette Dochstader. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home, located at 137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2. A funeral service followed at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home. In memory of Gladys, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
