Gerry Contois

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Contois of Brockville, Ontario, who left us on September 28, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on November 10, 1950, in Orillia, Ontario, Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Allian Contois (Tryon), as well as his parents-in-law, Alec and Cathie Thain. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Anne Contois, and their children, Andrew, Carolyn (Gary), and Kathryn. Gerry was a proud grandfather to Delphine, Caleb, Luke, and Beau. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy (Donna), Ron (Laurie), and Jeff Contois (Tina), along with his siblings-in-law, Bill (Barbara) and Sandy Thain (Barbara), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gerry's memory to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, whose compassionate team treated him with exceptional care.
