Fred Donaldson of Brockville, Ontario, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on November 21, 1936. He is survived by his child Laurie Donaldson, his pet Petra, his siblings‑in‑law Noel Davis and Judy Jelly, and his nieces and nephews Kim Austin, Kevin Donaldson, Brian Jelly and Steven Jelly, as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joan Donaldson R. N. and his brother Ross Donaldson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Leeds and Grenville SPCA, or the Ottawa Heart Institute in lieu of flowers.
