Wilf Bethune

Wilf Bethune passed away at his home on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 95, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was the loving father of Karen, the late Gordon's wife, Kathy, wife of Jim, Kris, Kelly, wife of Rob, and Kevin. Wilf was a cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 22 great-grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families, as well as many other relatives and friends. Wilf was predeceased by his parents and all nine of his siblings. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Victorian Order of Nurses and the palliative care team of Ontario Health at Home, who helped them over the past few weeks. Family and friends will be received at Kipps Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N., Paris, on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 17 Washington St., Paris, commencing at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, June 23. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will immediately follow the service at Sacred Heart Church. Wilf's final words were: GO LEAFS GO!!!
