Stewart Cameron GEEN

Stewart Cameron Geen passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on April 7, 1929, in Buffalo, New York, to Cecil and Annie Geen, he later married Donna Jean Kemp in 1954 and settled in Paris, Ontario, where he and his wife worked as high-school teachers. Stewart went on to become the principal of Paris District High-School and subsequently a superintendent of education for Brant County. He was also a columnist for the Paris Star newspaper. Stewart is survived by his sons Andrew and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Claudia, and grandchildren Willow and Emily. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and brother Robert Geen. A visitation will be held at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home on August 1, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a private family service. The family kindly requests that donations be made to the charity of one's choice in Stewart's memory.
