Sheldon Hugh Gittens

Sheldon Hugh Gittens passed away on June 15, 2026, in his 53rd year. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. Sheldon is survived by his sons, Terrence Demers and Isaiah Gittens; his grandchildren, Nevaeh and Miles; his mother, Sheila Gittens; and his sisters, Denise and Charlene. He is also remembered by his nephews, Quincy and Coby; his nieces, Tatianna and Ashley; along with many cousins, extended family members, and friends. Sheldon was predeceased by his father, Hugh Gittens. He will be deeply missed by his former wife and best friend, Geri Gittens. Visitation will be held at Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00pm and Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00am. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:00am in the Chapel at Toll Funeral Home, followed by interment at Oakhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
