Patricia Margaret Best

Patricia Margaret Best passed away surrounded by her family at Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the age of 94. She was reunited with her husband, John Best, who predeceased her in 1998. Patricia was also predeceased by her brother, John Stonham. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret Pelz and her husband David Pelz, Randy Best and his partner Angela Foster, Andrew Best, and Shelagh Best and her husband Mark Thomson. Patricia was a cherished grandmother of Chris Best and his wife Emily, Michael Pelz and his husband Noah, Graham Best and his wife Natalie, Greg Best and his wife Stephanie, Julia Pelz and her husband Skerdi, Evan Thomson, and Maya Thomson, and a great-grandmother to eight. Born in England on July 1, 1931, Patricia emigrated to Canada in 1951 to join her husband, John. They started a family in Kitchener in 1953 and later moved to Brantford in 1965. A Memorial Service will take place at Grace Anglican Church, 4 Pearl St., Brantford, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. In Patricia's memory, donations may be made online to Grace Anglican Church.
