Octavian Omoreanu of Brantford, Ontario, passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on August 20, 1939, he shared his life with family, friends, and colleagues. Octavian is survived by his spouse, Stela; his children, Claudia and John (Cherokee); and his brother, Liviu (Juliana) of Romania. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McCleister Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. A funeral service took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. In memory of Octavian, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
