Mildred Jessie (nee Brown) REDFERN

Mildred Jessie Redfern (nee Brown) passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 102, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the loving wife of the late John Alexander Redfern. Mildred was a devoted mother of Lynn of Brantford, John (Barb) of Norwich, Joanne (Peter) of Costa Rica, and Leslie Walker (Steve) of Cambridge, and the late Janet Redfern. She was a cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Brock (Tessa), Christy (Nic), Kate (Kyle), Matthew, and Mitchell, and a proud great-grandmother to Daphne and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Mildred was a loving sister to Fred, and was predeceased by her siblings, Clarence, Howard, Grace, Edith, Doris, and Viola. Friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Rd N, Brantford, on Monday, June 22, 2026, for a visitation from 12-1 p.m. with a service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Following the service, burial will take place at Farringdon Burial Ground. If wished, donations to the Grand River Council on Aging, the Stedman Community Hospice, or floral tributes are greatly appreciated.
