Mike Westra Sr.

Mike Westra Sr. passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by his family and loved ones at the Brantford General Hospital. He was a devoted family man and dedicated his life to his career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 37 years and proudly represented CAW local 707. Mike is survived by his children, Michael, Matthew, and Lisa, and their spouses, Erin, Raechel, and Brian. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Hunter, Conner, Madison, Kara, Colin, and Kinley, as well as his partner, Karen, and her family. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings, Ron, George, and Helen, and their spouses, Sandy and Pete, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at Toll Funeral Home on August 22, 2026, with visitation from 12pm-2pm and a reception from 2pm-5pm.
